Harun Aydın, Chairman of the Board of AYD Automotive Industry, made significant statements regarding the major investment to be realized in Konya.

“Today, we are not merely announcing an investment. Today, we are once again demonstrating our belief in our country, our trust in our state, and our commitment to our nation,” said Harun Aydın, emphasizing that the investment to be carried out under the AYD NEXFREN brand will be one of the largest industrial investments in both Türkiye and Konya.

Highlighting that AYD, which was born in the heart of Anatolia with over 50 years of experience, has become a globally recognized manufacturer, Aydın continued:

“We grew in these lands. We gained from these lands. And now we are investing back into these lands. Because we believe that a strong Türkiye is built on strong industry. We are taking a step worthy of the ‘Century of Türkiye’ vision set forth by our President.”

The AYD NEXFREN investment, to be implemented in the 5th and 6th Organized Industrial Zones of Konya, aims to create employment for 2,000 people. With its advanced production infrastructure and high value-added products, the project will further strengthen Türkiye’s position in the automotive industry.

Stating that AYD is already one of the world’s largest producers of suspension components and aims to achieve similar success in brake technologies, Aydın noted that this investment is a strategic move that encompasses not only today but also future generations:

“There are wars, crises, and uncertainties in the world. But we do not lose our direction. Because we trust this nation. We trust this state. We are not among those who step back in difficult times; on the contrary, we stand stronger. We continue to invest, and we continue to produce.”

Aydın concluded his remarks with the following words:
